So, yeah. About my tea addiction.
Feb. 10th, 2011 08:39 amI currently have nine different flavors of Adagio tea in my bottom drawer at work. That is not counting the ten different flavors of store-bought tea that have been tucked into the back of the drawer since I went totally loose-tea.
I ... er, may be sort of a loser. Or sort of awesome. It's debatable.
But -- yes. I ordered three ounces each of the roobios vanilla chai and the Valentine's tea. The Valentine's tea is fantastic, I'm not going to lie. It tastes like chocolate-covered strawberries and it's absolutely delightful, really. I think my only problem with it is that while I do like chocolate-flavored teas quite a lot, they're like special-occasion teas for me. They're not drinking-cup-after-cup-after-cup-after-cup-after-cup-in-about-an-hour teas for me. But as a special-occasion tea I like it quite a lot.
That said, the roobios vanilla chai.
I wasn't kidding when I was like, "OH MY EFFING GOD," yesterday. I tried it at work and my eyes rolled back in my head. It tastes like regular old tea for about a millisecond, and then Vanilla bursts into the room in all his jolly bearded good-naturedness with a hearty, "HELLOOOOOOOO, MY PRETTY!" and gives you a big cuddly bear hug that you want to stay in forever and ever and ever, right before Masala Chai sneaks up behind you, gently cups your breasts, and licks that one really sensitive spot right on your neck.
... er, it really didn't sound so much like Santa threesome porn in my head.
Anyway. I came home and ordered a pound of it. Mostly because I'm pretty sure I'm going to blow right through the three ounces I've already ordered. You know, if I don't do something obscene at work as a result of finishing off those three ounces.
I really, REALLY loved it. In case you can't tell. :D
(It's currently the only thing stopping me from throwing my phone against the nearest wall at work. I'm ... not really enjoying my job lately. At all. Even a little bit.)
