So I'm reading an article this morning about the remake of The Bodyguard, a movie which despite starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner is perfectly fucking fine the way it is, and I hit the paragraph about how they're "updating" it:
In the remake, the story would be updated so that the man would be a former Iraqi war vet trying to protect his client against an Internet world, in which stalkers can track stars on Twitter, Gawker Stalker, Google Maps and countless other sites.
I honestly don't know where to start side-eyeing this. Although I will say this: if we're going with the people-on-the-internet-are-creepy vibe, I will not be happy unless they also have remake "And I Will Always Love You" -- as covered by Disturbed.
