First-time author to use first book to raise funds for teens in need

Meanwhile, I got nothing written last night because I want to pause and figure out what the hell I'm doing with it before I go any farther. God knows I spent the entire first chapter just throwing things at walls and seeing what stuck. Answer: Everything, and that's not good.

A quick status of the writer post

1. Those of you who got a copy of The Hollow Girl -- don't worry about it for now. Somewhere between the other things I have to write, I'm putting it back on the shelf for now.

2. Those of you who are looking over The Monsters of Moosic -- status update? :)

3. Those of you who copyedit professionally -- anyone want to go over Monsters for me as well? I can pay. (Well, not right now, but definitely in two weeks.)

Also, I'm still poking at my NaNo project rather than writing anything for it. Writing -- that's what weekends are for. Heh.
