Ah, summertime.

apocalypsosLast night felt like the last day of finals before summer vacation. My current fannish status looks a bit like this:
-- I've got three shows left: Make Me A Supermodel, which I give more of a damn about than I expected I would; The Fashion Show, which I'm only watching because I really am THAT desperate for a new season of Project Runway to show up again (AUGUST. WOOHOO!); and Harper's Island, which I'm terrified they're going to cancel on me just because I like it that much and they've already changed nights on the stupid thing.
-- There's still another episode of Gossip Girl left, but I'm about a month behind so ... well, I'll get around to catching up eventually.
-- Supernatural and The Amazing Race are both over for the season.
-- Chuck is also over for the season, and might not be coming back, but I really need to catch up on the episodes I missed anyway.
-- Leverage starts on July 15th (YAY!), and Merlin starts on June 21st. I don't care if I've already seen every episode of Merlin, damn it, I plan on watching them on NBC and then on the website later because I want to encourage any network that's willing to actually broadcast a British show as is rather than taking the set-up from the Brits and making it their own BADLY.
-- America's Got Talent premieres on June 23rd. Apparently Nick Cannon is hosting this year rather than Jerry Springer. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think Jerry's better for this. Nick Cannon? Really? Meh. Maybe this year I won't get bored and wander off halfway through the season.
-- Project Runway on August 20th! \o/ I miss it so much I'd even take a sucky season.
So, yeah. I missed last night's episode of The Fashion Show, so I'm going to suffer through that and then it's time to head down to the cafe for the open jazz session they're having tonight. I was contemplating going to the movies later on tonight but ... hell, maybe I still will after I hit the cafe.
Huh. Call me crazy, but I think I just recognized Shannon from last season of Make Me A Supermodel modeling in the first elimination challenge for The Fashion Show.
