The Leverage box set comes out on July 14th. The Middleman box set comes out on July 28th. I'm not allowed to get either one until I finish Heroine Addiction, and only one of them at that.

-- I'm supposed to go walking with Jess at the lake again, but I may skip out because I haven't really written much the past couple of days. Okay, mostly because I didn't feel well, but still.

-- My grandparents are supposed to come tomorrow. Oh, this is going to be so very interesting.

-- I really need to stop looking at clothes on Etsy. It just depresses me, both because I can't fit into half of my clothes anymore and because I can't afford new ones anyway.

-- AfterElton talked to the gay member of the same-sex male ballroom dance team who didn't make it through last night on SYTYCD last night. Nigel's always been a bit of a putz when it comes to anything remotely related to gay guys, but that crack about the team making the audience uncomfortable made me want to smack him. Technically, they weren't good enough to go on -- even *I* could tell that much -- but the extra-stupid judge confusion irritated the piss out of me.

I have always hated Y and R, the pacing was always slower than molasses, even by soap standards, but my God, the guy MM's going to be kissing is hot. I don't think I can say no to that.

Nigel's problem is that he's trying too hard to butch up the dancers so that some mythical macho man who for some ungodly reason is hooked on SYTYCD but hates gay guys won't be offended.

a.) Fuck that mythical guy.
b.) Who does Nigel think his audience IS, exactly?
c.) Anybody stupid enough to not expect there to be a disproportionate number of gay men performing on SYTYCD by now is clearly asking for it.
