Now I can't stop thinking that I should write a book about being a 31-year-old virgin who's NOT all, "God told me at my father/daughter purity ball that I have to stay chaste until I'm maaaaaaarried."

YOU SHOULD OMG. My sister just wrote an article for Nerve about losing her virginity at age 34. And I think it's a really good depiction of why having sex just to get it over with is a bad idea, as is having sex because you feel weird about being a 30-something virgin. Sex can be fun, but it's not as fun as many many other things, and personally I wouldn't care if I never had sex again. I am actually PLANNING on never having sex again.
