Oh, my God, this is taking forever. Writing out the dialogue first for these chapters would probably be a hell of a lot easier if I had a better idea of what was going in the middle. *sigh*

*

Random stuff:

-- I cleared off the TV stand I'm not using that's against the front windows in the living room, put Otis' favorite blanket on it, and left the window open all afternoon. From there, he gets sun, birds, and cars. He was in heaven. Heh.

-- All of the Asylum posts are reminding me why I would just not do well in that atmosphere at ALL. Wincon, I can handle. Hell, Dragoncon, I can deal with. But I have a feeling I'd spend far too much time during cons the guys are at just cringing, and not at them.

-- You know what? I'm not just happy that Susan Boyle didn't win because I was tired of all the media scrutiny. I'm happy she didn't win because she looked bloody miserable up there until she knew Diversity won. Then she had this, "Oh, thank FUCK" smile on her face.

-- A camel playing with a bucket.

-- I don't think this guy can be helped any more than the lawyer does.

Yeah, I kind of lost it earlier. Ended up deleting the rant, but already based on the posts I'm seeing, looks like the fandom sense of entitlement is alive and kicking.

Is it bad that I'm playing 'spot the wank'? Because you know it's coming.

Seriously, I thought she was going to pass out.

Will this help?

Knowing your predilection for the apocalyptic I thought it might cheer you up.

i don't think I could watch this myself, except through my fingers...but it looks fantastic.

She did, didn't she? I think by last night she had decided that winning just wasn't worth it and I was happy with her comments to Diversity.

Seriously. I mean, for anybody else on that stage winning would be awesome, but at this point for her it would just be one more thing to suffer through.

I was there at the weekend (not as an attendee: Himself is one of the convention DJs, so I snuck in to do the parties with him) and can only thank my lucky stars that I wasn't attending officially... I have never seen so many people queuing in one place in my life!

Do you happen to know the links to any of the comments you were talking about? I'd like to see what the fans were saying about it, for good or for ill...if it's not too cheeky to ask you that! (And if it is, I apologise!)
