I always feel like killing off characters is a bit of a cheap maneuver unless you do it right, but when you're on your THIRD dead lead? Dude, come on, there are other plot twists in the world. Really.

btw, I picked up a nonfiction book today at new library that made me think of you- Death From the Skies! These Are the Ways the World Will End by Philop Plait, Ph.D.

Haven't read it yet, but it looked neat.
