Feb. 9th, 2004 09:08 amWho the fuck is doing those annoying anonymous "See The Passion of the Christ!" comments? Because if they want to guarantee I won't want to see the movie, they've done their job.
EDIT: I've decided that whoever's doing it is some Gibson-hating nut who wants to bug people to the point of disgust every time they even hear the phrase "The Passion of the Christ". Makes a lot more sense that way.

Date: 2004-02-09 06:58 am (UTC)I had really a negative interest in seeing the movie in the first place, but if I had been interested, this is the kind of crap that would definately turn me off it.

Date: 2004-02-09 10:14 am (UTC)I heard they are sending trailers out to churches and asking them to show them in Sunday School as "the greatest lesson you will ever learn!"
Am I wrong in thinking that if you are in Sunday School, then the lesson of Christ's death should have been covered? What are they expecting? People will be all, "Jesus is crucified? Oh my! I had no idea *this* happened!"
People. Huh.

Date: 2004-02-09 11:15 am (UTC)Actually, yeah, it kinda does. Cause advertising a movie with phrases like "pray for your soul?" I'm thinking that's not a professional advertising campaign. Or if it is, I hope it was done out of faith, cause I sure wouldn't be paying for it...
