I spent the majority of yesterday straightening up and moving furniture. I took all of the extra chairs in the living room and the bookshelf in the office and put them in the mostly empty spare bedroom, moved the computer desk to the other side of the office, and put my bed over by the front windows so that my bedroom looks HUGE.
My current problem? That stupid day bed frame is STILL in my spare bedroom. My attempts to turn that room into actual livable space, preferably where I can curl up and read come winter time, continue to fail hardcore because I can't get rid of that dumb thing.
I wonder if I call my mother and impress her by pointing out that I've cleaned within an inch of my life and the only thing marring that cleanliness is the day bed frame might get her to convince Dad to cart it off for me. Then again, probably not. My parents seem to believe that if they bring a new piece of furniture here, they should leave the old piece of furniture it's replacing there whether I want them to or not because eventually I'll just magically find a use for it, rather than loathe it for creating more clutter. I don't like a lot of STUFF in my apartment, damn it. I know I'm a slob, and having less crap keeps me from making a bigger mess.
*sigh*

Happy Leverage Day!

Have I mentioned lately how much I love Parker? YAY PARKER! And now I am getting shiny new Parker. The universe loves me, yes, it does. :D

I'm seriously debating calling up for the Inventory Specialist job I spotted on HotJobs. It says they prefer someone with inventory control experience, but DHL has to count for something, right? That was most of my job, scanning, correcting and locating packages in the warehouse.
I mean, it's factory work and I kinda wanted to work in an office, but hell, it's four bucks more an hour than the place I used to work a while back that wants me to come in for an interview and possibly even more than the place I've been wanting to work.
Have I mentioned lately how much I hate my life? Because ... yeeeeaaah. *eyeroll*
