Charisma Carpenter, in a TV Guide Online interview when asked if she's up for the planned Wonder Woman movie: "I am actively putting it out there that I want to do Lynda Carter."

And somewhere out there, a 40-year-old comic book and fantasy geek just ruined a perfectly good pair of X-Men boxer shorts.

EDIT: Joss Stone's version of "Fell in Love With a Boy" has completely ruined what little love I had for the White Stripes. That just needed to be shared.

And who the hell sung the original version of Melissa Etheridge's new song? I heard it today on the radio and I think I sprained something trying to remember. (EDIT, PART TWO: Never mind. It was Greenwheel. Whose version I liked better, by the by.)

According to http://www.triplearadio.com/new_music/archives/etheridge.html it looks to be her song, but done first by a band I've never heard of.

she'd written with John Shanks and covered a song that was initially done by onetime Island pet project Greenwheel. That song, "Breathe," is the first-ever remake on any of her albums and currently the instigator of a good ol' fashioned radio battle at Triple A and Hot AC. "I'm a little scared about it because it's the first single," Etheridge told us. "Am I compromising artistically with it? I don't feel like I'm compromising myself—I can't wait to play the song live. I don't know, I feel a little naked about it.

Greenwheel is the r0x. I would suggest listening to 'Breathe' and 'Shelter' and 'I Don't Know'. They're awesome. ^^;

Ich habe gerade einen Patzer in meine Hose gewürfelt. (I just rolled a critical fumble in my pants.)

Indeed, Greenwheel rocks the funky boss.

I'm biased, for familial reasons, but they really are quite good.

They'll be releasing their new album in a couple of months.

joss stone's version...

... that was really the only song of theirs that I liked, but Joss Stone's version solidly kicks its ass.
