So when we were still at the stage of apocalyptothon where we were picking out fandoms, The Princess Bride squeaked by and made the list. We only had two or three requests for it.

This totally makes up in quality what the fandom lacked in quantity.

This is fucking heartbreaking, and wonderful and AWFUL all at once, and on-point in every way possible -- the character voices, the style, every little detail of that world.

God knows I'm a bit jaded by now when it comes to apocalyptic fic. I'm still bawling my eyes out after reading that.
