Last night was the last night of auditions and those were shortened by the Susan Boyle interview. So there's only a couple of videos today.

Above the cut we've got Ciana Pelekai, who's got a fabulous voice and is adorable as all hell.

These are the Beale Street Flippers, a group of acrobats. They're a blast to watch.

This is Breaksk8, who perform exactly what you'd expect them to. Piers buzzed them because he didn't like the skates, but I thought they were great.

This is a montage of good performances that made it through -- Mosaic, a singing group performing Earth, Wind, and Fire; the Lollipop Girls, a burlesque group; Recycled Percussion, a band doing a Stomp-esque performance banging on ladders; Jeffrey Ou, a pianist; SQ Entertainment, a dance troupe; and Koshka Raenelle, a fantastic singer.

My plan for today includes the following:

1. Another chapter of GPW edited.
2. The last chapter of DMIDS edited.
3. Trying to get my writing on Heroine Addiction jump-started.

Seriously, right now I'm just all, FUCK THIS NOISE I'LL JUST BE A STARVING ARTIST THEN. As frustrating as editing can be, at least I *like* being frustrated by it.

Good luck with the writing, I can commiserate with you as far as being a starving artist- sure, it means no more vacations or nice dinners, but at least we're happily wallowing in misery!

Oh, and just because I've been following you for a while (since trollprincess days) but don't think I've ever actually introduced myself, probably because I only used LJ back then to keep in touch with old RL friends, but now I use it for fandom purposes. Anyway.

Hope that wasn't too weird. I thought it would be weirder to just comment as a total stranger, rather than introduce myself XD;;;
