apocalypsosYesterday I ran down to the Dollar General and bought a cheap pair of headphones because I turned my apartment upside down and still couldn't find the white headphones my brother gave me.
Just now I sat down on the couch, reached down to move the cushion, and pulled out the white headphones from underneath the cushion. I swear to GOD, I took all of the cushions off the couch and they weren't there.
*sigh*
Well, now I can't say I don't have a pair of headphones, I suppose.
Other than that, it's actually been a good day so far. No phone calls from anyone I've sent resumes to, damn it, but I checked my bank account and I'll definitely have enough for my rent and my car payment, which I was afraid I'd have to put off until my last unemployment payment next week. I'm probably going to have to borrow ten bucks from my brother so I can hit the food and beer tents this week, but I'm not missing out on fried dough, pierogies and potato pancakes. MMMM.
And I got the first five chapters of Heroine Addiction edited, I just want to go over five more while I'm on a roll. It's maybe just a leeeeettle frustrating that the first six chapters of GPW took a week to edit and the first five chapters of HA took ... uh, three hours.
Okay, the cat just fell asleep on my edited chapters. That's not really going to help me, sweetie.
