Last night seventeen acts went through to the top 40, according to Nick. They bring up the three dance acts -- Breaksk8, Euphoria, and Destined 2 Be -- who had to choreograph a routine and perform it today to get in.

I'm rooting for Mia (the girl in the red dress from yesterday) and the three kids who sang 'God Bless America'.

Cut or kept:

Paradiso Dance (married couple, tiny woman who lifted up her ginormous husband): Kept (YAY! They're adorable and such a sweet couple.)
Ishaar (Bollywood dance to "Jai Ho"): Kept (YAY! But please, I beg you, pick different music! I'm sure I can find you something ...)
FootworKINGs (dance troupe, I think that was how they spelled it): Kept

That makes twenty acts so far.

Jeffrey the Asian pianist (can't recall his last name right now): Kept (Oh, he's such a sweet man.)
Rashida Jolly (harpist/singer, "Killing Me Softly"): Cut (Aw.)
The whip guy and his wife: Cut
Three sets of acrobats: Cut
Indian dancer: Cut
Brother-and-sister singing and guitar act: Cut (The brother had another opportunity and didn't come.)
Elisha Miller (little girl singing and playing piano, "Proud Mary"): Kept (I ... don't know. I mean, she's goddamn adorable, but she can't sing and she can't play the piano -- although on the bright side she realizes that -- so what the hell is she going to do?)

Married performance artists (he juggled chainsaws): Kept (HA! And then he humped David! *snerk*)
Marcus Terrell and the Serenades (singing troupe, Piers liked him but hated the backup girls): Only Marcus is going to the top 40, the girls stepped back to allow him to go. (That ... really kinda sucked to watch, but it needed to happen.)

The dance troupes are back to perform to Flo Rida's "Jump." (My guess would be Destined 2 Be.)
