Date: 2009-08-05 10:47 pm (UTC)I suppose that's why the quickfire's supposed to be burgers for Morgan Spurlock. Although that would probably be a pretty good challenge all on its own, making a burger that won't cause Morgan to immediately hurl. ;)

Date: 2009-08-05 11:13 pm (UTC)That's actually a really smart challenge - because it's something you'd have to do as requests sometimes, but all in one package.
Poor poor girl though. Being allergic to all that would make me very very very sad.

Date: 2009-08-07 05:48 am (UTC)A by-no-means comprehensive list of things my father will not eat: meat that is not well-done and devoid of any trace of red or pink, bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, carrots, anything combining sweet and savory flavors, anything too sour, anything too sweet (even desserts), anything too spicy, most vegetables, soups that are too thick, and lamb. In addition, he is not a fan of pasta, and strongly, STRONGLY prefers to have white rice at every meal (regardless of whether or not it already contains starch). Also, he does not like leftovers, and does not consider dinner a proper meal without meat.
Mom hates mushrooms, green bell peppers, coconut, and black olives.
Youngest sibling hates crunchy or hard foods, anything spicy, anything too sweet, anything that looks or smells 'weird' that she has not eaten before, and apparently anything not covered in cheese or ranch dressing.
You can see, now, why my family's list of Acceptable Foods is very, very short, with the list of Foods Everyone Can/Will Eat containing something like three things (iceberg lettuce, zucchini, and asparagus, though the youngest will only very, very reluctantly eat the asparagus and slightly less reluctantly eat zucchini). Did I mention that my brother is vegan, my youngest sister is a vegetarian who does not like 98% of all vegetables, my other sister hates any attempts to 'lighten' recipes and attempts to eat low-carb without really being too clear on things like nutritional information (also hates ground beef), neither my sisters nor my mother can stand even a few grains of black pepper or anything else spicy, and my father has a habit of randomly deciding he no longer likes dishes that he has been eating contentedly for decades?
