Which I'm spoiling because I'm pretty sure at this point no one cares but me. Heh.

So, the final five going to the finals are:

Drew Stevyns -- Oh, you hot piece of ass, you. God, you're yummy. I hate your singing voice, but ... PRETTY.
EriAm Sisters -- OMG, Nick, that was so mean.

Oh, man, out of those three, I'm betting on Pam Martin.

Aaaaaand Coney Island Chris, the African High Flyers, and Pam Martin are all out. Nick is just fucking with everybody tonight.

Next one in the finals is ...

Recycled Percussion -- Okay, I really love Recycled Percussion, but NOOOOOO, I wanted Ishaara to stay! *pouts*

And the last two are:

Barbara Padilla -- Well, DUH. She's so pretty! And her singing voice is FANTASTIC.
Erik and Rickie -- Wow, I thought they were going to put Mia through.

Next week in the semis (I thought this was the semis, but okay, whatever): Fab Five, Grandma Lee, Kevin Skinner, Paradizo Dance, Voices of Glory, Texas Tenors, Tony Hoard and Rory, Acrodunk, Arcadian Broad, and Drew Thomas Magic.

No, this is the last semifinal round before the finals. They've already picked fifteen of the top twenty acts, now they've only got five (well, three) more spots in the top twenty.

Man, I felt so bad for Barbara Padilla when she watched Piers use her as a reason why Mia was not up to snuff. (Though what he said was true.) Barbara just went out to sing and nailed it, and judging from her reaction, didn't want to be used against anyone. Her inner-Mommy was showing.

And Ishaara was a disappointment when going through. I would have rather had them instead of Drew Stevyns.

Next week, let's hope Tony Hoard holds himself together better. We know Rory can do it. I don't expect them to go much farther, but I'd like a good showing. Of the line up for next week, I'm pulling for Grandma Lee, Paradizo Dance, Voices of Glory, and Arcadian Broad.

I know, right? Barbara Padilla seems like the show mommy, and she doesn't want anybody to feel bad, and she's so damn nice.

I wanted Ishaara SO MUCH. I don't understand how they came in as low as they did. I was positive they were a lock.

What bothers me about Drew Stevyns is that I went onto YouTube today and there's videos of him performing songs on there (specially made videos, not recordings from bars or anything), and he's actually really good. But based on last night's performance, I wouldn't have put him through. I thought that was a terrible song for him and I thought he sounded like half of the notes he sang were off. I genuinely think that was a case of him getting on for being a pretty face, which sucks because Ishaara deserved that spot. (Honestly, I think they deserved Erik and Rickie's spot. I think those kids are adorable, but Ishaara could carry a Vegas show and I don't think those two could.)

I hope Tony and Rory do better, but I'm not holding my breath. I think I'm pulling for Grandma Lee, Kevin Skinner, Paradizo Dance, Arcadian Broad, and Drew Thomas Magic.
