I am the epitome of "just chillin'."

It's pouring down rain outside and I just finished off my tea. This is unacceptable, and needs to be remedied immediately. I need a boyfriend if only to have someone who'll fetch me hot tea so I don't have to get up.
I had to get up early this morning to take my parents's cat Owen to the vet. He's got a couple of small lumps under his skin down by his legs, so he had to go and get them looked at, except the last time he went to the vet they knocked him out and pulled his teeth, so you can imagine how much fun THAT car ride was. Then we got there and the vet was like, "Yeah, we should probably remove those today," and I was all ready to say, "Sure, whatever, do what you've got to do," until I saw the very large number she whipped out as the cost for the procedure and I kinda backed away all, "Uh, yeah, you'd better ask my mother for permission for THAT shit."
But I've wasted the rest of the day away for the most part, except for typing up a few bits I wrote for Heroine Addiction yesterday while watching last week's Project Runway rerun. It was a lot of talky stuff, so I think I'm going to try and come up with some actiony bits later. (Actiony bits! Talky stuff! I'm a writer, you guys! It says so on my shirt!)
I've also been contemplating what to do for NaNo this year, since I haven't won at it in five years and if I don't have a job by then (HA! Bwahaha. Heh. Um. *headdesk*), I have no damn excuse. Mostly I'd just like to be done with Heroine Addiction by then. Hell, I'd like to be done with the first draft of that by my birthday, but I'm not pushing my luck. But I'm torn between five possibilities for NaNo right now:
1. The untitled Regency fantasy ass-kicking magic-wielding countess-type story.
2. The God-takes-all-the-holy-books-back story.
3. Chapter And Curse, which I never have gotten a chance to start.
4. The YA fantasy abducted-kid-comes-back story that's been sitting in my ideas folder for the longest time and popped back up onto my radar again for ... well, for the obvious reasons. (Oh, God, that story is just painful. Jesus, that poor girl and those kids.)
5. Or fuck, maybe I'll just dash off a m/m romance for the hell of it.
I guess it just depends on what jumps up into my face between now and then and CLINGS.
In other news, all of that talk of 2012 made me toss Knowing onto my Netflix queue and it showed up this morning while I was wrangling a yowling Siamese into a cat carrier. Mmm, cheesy world-ending goodness. *snuggles* I really need to pick it up for myself, seriously.
Speaking of movies, I wonder if I could talk my brother into taking me to see 9 when it comes out and paying. I really want to go see it but I've got another dentist appointment next week so who knows what the hell I'll have left after that? *sigh*
