apocalypsosMy comments on the performances (of which apparently only four will be chosen):
Acrodunk: HOOPS ON FIRE. I keep thinking they're not going to bring it and they do it every damn time. Awesome.
Texas Tenors: Damn, that was REALLY good.
Paradizo Dance: How do they do that stuff?! And seriously, I spend most of their performances squealing about how adorable they are. And I liked that performance, damn it. Hmph.
Drew Thomas Magic: Awww, that was so cute.
Tony Hoard and Rory: OUCH, for quitting his job for this, but hey, he caught them all tonight and Piers didn't buzz him, so good for him.
Voices of Glory: They did very well, but I do agree with Piers that they need to put her out front and back her up.
Fab Five: Really great, but then again they're always very good.
Grandma Lee: She's hilarious. And so damn adorable.
Arcadian Broad: That was from High School Musical, wasn't it? *headshake* That said, that was very good, but I worry about his range. And I maybe love him a LOT for coming right out and saying THE PRODUCERS MADE ME DO IT. Somebody should, FFS.
Kevin Skinner: I really wish he'd sing something fast. Having said that, he's such a great performer to watch. Just somebody who has a lot of fun performing, and it shows.
My guesses for who'll get through ... Kevin Skinner, Acrodunk, the Texas Tenors, and Grandma Lee. Although I'm willing to swap out any of those for Paradizo Dance (for being adorable) or Tony and Rory (because who can't sympathize with a guy who lost his job in this economy?).
