Many reviews, including the Onion's, Salon's and the New York Post's single out one line of dialouge as the metaphor for all that is terribly wrong about this movie. Apparently at one point, Bullock offers a little piece of quirky wisdom, saying, "I wear these boots because they make my toes feel like 10 friends on a camping trip."

... okay, then!

I almost want to go. It's going to be horrible, badly-written, misogynistic offal, and God knows I like laughing at crappy movies. But I like Sandra Bullock (I know, I know, it's my cross to bear), damn it, and ... no. No, if I were going to see anything, there's a list of movies a mile long it'd be a better idea to see first.

I saw it last night, and laughed my ass off. It was cute, corny and a bit endearing. The script is a little clunky, but personally I think the critics are being too hard on it.

I was surprised that I liked The Proposal so much and I believe a lot of that has to do with Sandra Bullock being awesome. I expect All About Steve is not nearly that level of endearing, but it's probably not My Super Ex-Girlfriend either.
