Also, there's this quote from this article: Rep. Mark Kirk (R-Ill.), who is running for Obama's old Senate seat, said, "He talked at us. He didn't listen to us... It was a missed opportunity." Someone stop me from emailing him the definition of the word "speech."

Also, that stuff about Obama not listening to political opponents is really rich coming after eight years of the Secret Cheney Administration. Obama actually makes a point of listening - Bush made a point of not doing it because to him (Rove, Cheney, whomever) it would be a sign of weakness.
