Here's another wacky detail for you ... Long ago, before either the original Star Trek or Batman TV series, a never-bought (thankfully!) pilot was made for an historical TV series, called "Alexander the Great."
Alexander was ... William Shatner.
"Cleitus" (read Hephaistion) was ... Adam West.
LOL! Actually, Shatner made a suprisingly (or not-so-surprisingly) good Alexander ... better (imo) than Richard Burton had earlier, in the big MGM epic. (Burton's first starring role.) The *history* in the pilot stunk to high heaven, but Shatner was a very convincing Alexander. Of course, later, he played Kirk as "Alexander-in-Space" anyway, so ....
