Really, though, while I do feel that they've jumped the shark rather with this plotline, Becky-the-character could quite rightfully be a lot worse. I think my only real problem was the standard television trope of "haha unwanted touching is funny", which was only presented in mild form here and made sense for the character anyway. (I don't quite get why Sam didn't just edge away from her as he's done in the past with over-handsy women?)
Plus, the GalaxyQuest shout-out made me smile (okay, while cringing a little, but mostly smile).
