What I've accomplished today
Sep. 13th, 2009 10:23 pmThe only thing I've gotten done today writing-wise is printed out what I've got left of Heroine Addiction and putting it into a notebook to add notes to. It took me ten minutes and yet I still feel very accomplished.
I actually spent more time with my mom trying a Christmas knit cap on the cats. Well, she did most of it. I just stood there and didn't stop her, which was enough for my dad to consider me an accomplice.
To be fair, the notebook thing actually helps a lot. I'm pretty sure there's a few chapters that can just get streamlined into other ones, which means I've got more done than I think I do. Or something.
I may take tomorrow as a mental health day. It's kinda sad that I feel like I need the same sort of mental health days I occasionally needed when I actually had a job, but ... yeah. I'm tired and I'm cranky and I'm stressing myself out so much lately over everything from work to money and back again that I'm pretty sure I stressed myself right out of my last period. Good times. I've never done that to myself before in my LIFE. *eyeroll*

Date: 2009-09-14 05:01 am (UTC)I'm Team You Will Indeed Publish because I really REALLY want to read all these stories you're working on - it's tantalising to read about the premise, and hear all about their progress and construction. So now I wanna READ THEM. I will pay money and everything.
It was like when I read David Marr's biography of Patrick White - I'd never read a book of PW's, but after that I had to go and read through as many as I could find....
