Tonight's TV:

*

-- How cute is Cat trying to learn Bostonian? *snickers*
-- Also, I adore her pretty rose-pink top.
-- That first audition was so FUN.
-- I love how during Jean's FANTASTIC audition you could see dancers in the background running to get a better look at him go.
-- Ooo, hot guy with awesome dreads.
-- The good thing about this year's auditions is that there's so little time there's fewer crappy auditions to deal with.
-- Creepy Eyebrow Dancer is kinda skeevy.
-- Okay, that guy in the blue tights was just ... man, that was painful.

*

-- Oh, of COURSE Kurt knows all the "Single Ladies" steps. And his dad's Hey, It's That Guy!

-- Boyhowdy! Also, good Lord, Will's irritating sister-in-law is wearing stirrup pants.

-- I adore every minute that Jane Lynch is on screen.

-- "The more times she storms out of rehearsal, the less impact it has." *snickers*

-- Oh, Kurt.

-- Aaaaaaaaand now all I can picture is Zachariah showing up to fuck with Sue Sylvester.

-- I love that Rachel's just that easy to toy with. Liza Minelli and Celine Dion songs. Heeeeeee.

-- Even if I weren't a total spoiler junkie, I totally saw the Quinn-Terri thing coming a MILE away.

-- \o/

You know, this show has its problems, I'm not going to deny that, but it still manages to leave me in a fantastic mood afterward despite its flaws.

I love Rebecca Romijn and Paul Gross, but I'm not sure I'm going to stick with this. I'm not entirely denouncing it just yet, but there's something off about the writing or the chemistry or something. It's just really hard to watch, and not just because the original cast could take this cast down in their sleep.

That said, Paul Gross is apparently having a fucking BLAST.

Also, Veronica Cartwright being wacky and paranoid was the best part of the episode simply for the reference to the original movie. Which, of course, means we only saw her twice.

*

Awwww, they wore red neckerchiefs for Mattin! I'm willing to forgive Mike I. a smidge for that one idea, although he immediately turned around and acted like a shit about Robin.

I find all of the Robin knocking over her cancer references a bit obnoxious, although I do always nod in deference to the contestants for any problems they might have with any contestants mostly because I'm not the one who has to live with these people. I just feel like it's a cheap shot in this instance because, hell, if I stomped cancer's ass I'm not sure you'd be able to get me to shut up about it, or anything at all, at least for a little while.

How do these people NOT know what eggs Florentine is? Fuck, *I* knew what it was, and I've never eaten it nor am I a chef.

I knew Kevin was going to win as soon as I saw that plate. Lovely.

Aw, Ron. :(

I watched TV tonight with my mom and she does not like Jane Lynche's character. I don't think she understands the "No Mom she's not a nice lady, she's the Devil but in a fun way" awesomeness.
Also she's watching Eastwick for Paul Gross. My mom loves him even if he isn't his Benton Fraser prime physique anymore.

Jean...who was he? Or, which style did he audition with?

He was the b-boy who did that slow twisting handstand.

Veronica Cartwright! Thank you! That was bugging me (arrgh, no pun intended) — I was fairly sure she was the cherry stone woman from the movie, but I wasn't sure and I couldn't remember her name.

I thought the pilot was good enough that I'm willing to see how the show shakes down in the next few eps.

Omigod, Paul Gross was having so much fun with his pinstriped three-piece suit and his stretch Rolls and his black satin robe.

Veronica Cartwright was also Penny on Lost in Space.

She was NOT! Penny was played by ANGELA Cartwright--her sister!

I was so baffled when none of them knew Eggs Florentine! What the hell was that, they serve it in decent restaurants. Are they just none of them brunch people? Idgi.

Aw crap, I forgot that Eastwick was gonna be on.

-- Aaaaaaaaand now all I can picture is Zachariah showing up to fuck with Sue Sylvester.

At this point, I think they're in league together.

see, I watched Eastwick last night and it was like 'boring boring boring hee Paul you amuse me boring boring boring yay smarmy Paul'.

Because yes, Paul looks like he is having a blast, and that'll probably keep that show at least somewhat entertaining. Though I may end up working through it and then just tuning in for him being silly.

Wait, HOW did I not know Paul Gross is in Eastwick? Crap, I have to find this thing online now!

And I agree with you about Glee. The flaws bug me, but I still ended up sniffling at the end and grinning ridiculously over Kurt and his dad.
