Let me just say this ...

While I miss Simon like crazy, I'm so glad to have Never Mind The Buzzcocks back I'm focusing on the fact that the first episode of this series was actually quite funny. (How adorable was Paloma Faith in her children's bullfighter outfit? THIS adorable. \o/)

Well, that, and the lineup for the fourth or fifth episode (whichever it was, apparently they took the listing off Wikipedia), when it's Christopher Biggins hosting, Phill and Noel Fielding as team captains, and Johnny Depp, Anne Widdecombe, Lily Allen and Pete Doherty as guests. There's something so profound about the casting for that episode all I could do it stare with slack-jawed glee at my computer screen.

Mostly my reaction boils down to:

1. I ship everything on this show, God knows, but that stoked my Merlin/Morgana kink but good.
2. Mordred -- still creepy as hell.
3. I'm sorry, was that a GIANT NAKED MOLE RAT in the preview? Bwahahahaha!
4. I know how the love triangle ends, and it's depressing because while I ship everybody on this show, I think Arthur/Gwen has waaaaay more chemistry than Gwen/Lancelot. YMMV, of course, but ... eh.
