Heh. Nope, not really. What with all of the fanfiction, there's always a lot of different people coming and going around these parts, so I've gotten used to it by now. ;)

And ... um, Deniz and Roman. 'Cause right now they seem to be a little snugglier than either Christian and Olli (who've been acting weird lately) and Kyle and Oliver (who both really, REALLY need to get laid first).

Well, I was happy the first year I was in DC but somewhere between the depression and all of the other crap that went down, that certainly didn't last. Given that, I'd rather have the life I have right now. I feel isolated and upset these days, too, but at least I know why I am this time around. These days I'm not keeping to my womancave because leaving it means being lied to and ignored and feeling helpless, I'm keeping to my womancave because leaving it requires money and staying home to pout and edit is cheaper.

So it's actually a positive, really, on some level. Back then things could only get worse. Now they can only get better. :)

In all seriousness, I was a total bookworm as a kid, but I never really wanted to be a writer until I got to high school when I read this festering pile. I'd never actually thrown a book at a wall for being horribly written until I read that. I literally was like, "Oh, for fuck's sake, *I* can write better than that!"

Aaaaaand I couldn't. But I did like it once I tried it, and the rest is history.

I know I complain a lot about writing, but even at its worst, when I'm sitting here with one draft still needing a looooong checklist of stuff fixed and another edit going slow as molasses AND a Yuletide story to do AND a GYWO pledge of 250k next year to look forward to, it's STILL more fun at the worst of times than anything else I've ever been involved in has been at the best of times.

Well, it doesn't have to be just movie actors - I can think of a bunch of people I've only seen on TV that could easily carry a movie, or at least a bit more name recognition.

It's getting really dark. Which I really like because it's getting more interesting and becoming less of a cutesy-kiddie show, but still. MEEP! O_O;;

Last night's ep was just brutal. Next week's finale looks like it's gonna be worse. *sob*
