Jan. 28th, 2010 07:59 am-- SPN AND PROJECT RUNWAY DAY, WOOHOO!
-- So I've been going to the gym every morning around six or six-thirty since Sunday with the exception of yesterday because all of the exercise caught up with me and I got my period, so I hurt so much I just stayed home. I've been sticking with the treadmill just because I need to get used to moving at all again and that'll build me up some tolerance. Today I did twenty minutes doing a brisk walk, which is a vast improvement over Sunday, when I did five minutes at a fairly slow walk and sounded like I was dying. (Although to be fair, my cough was still lingering then.)
The goal is getting back into my size eight jeans again (although the real goal is to get into my one pair of size six jeans comfortably, SHHHH), but it's less about getting into my clothes as it is about not getting tired walking up from my driveway to my apartment, which is pretty much two flights of stairs, which goes to show how out of shape I am.
-- My tax refund had better be in my bank account at fucking midnight tonight or Imma throttle the IRS through the internet with the power of my mind like an itty bitty Darth Vader.
-- Speaking of itty bitty, I downloaded the first and second Harry Potter audio books to listen to at work for nostalgia's sake (and because I got tired of the small selection of music on my tiny wee MP3 player) and it only just occurred to me that it'll be the first time hearing Jim Dale's voice since Pushing Daisies got canceled, and I sulked for five minutes.
-- I was trying to get all of the chapters I needed to get edited from GPW done before this weekend so I could spend the entire time bulking up my word count on Cherry Bomb and starting my Big Bang, and it's working about as well as it normally does. Ugh, hate the editing part of writing novels. Have I mentioned that?
