BLAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH.
Feb. 22nd, 2010 08:36 amIt's eight-twenty in the morning, I have my period so I skipped the gym this morning, I'm watching Project Catwalk reruns on YouTube, I have to leave for work in less than an hour, and I haven't eaten or showered yet.
I am the epitome of my entry title.
I'm also holding off on editing the two chapters of GPW I'm supposed to have for today because I made the executive decision this weekend to focus on getting the next edit of Heroine Addiction out of the way before I head onto anything else. I've got a Big Bang to write, a new novel crying for attention, and GPW needing a desperate in-depth edit, but I need to finish something. Trying to work on four things at once is killing me. My to-be-worked-on list is TOO DAMN LONG. At least Heroine Addiction is the closest to done, so HA is the one I'm going to stick with right now.
Oh, and I haven't called the temp agency yet today because I'm a weeeee bit terrified. That, and I heard yesterday from one of the full-time employees that the CEO of the company was at a private luncheon they had last week and she made a point of asking him about the temps and how unsure they were about their futures, and he told her he'd make sure it was cleared up this week, if not today ASAP.
Is it bad that I sort of hope I do get laid off? I'm just ... I'm on my third week without a day off and I haven't written in forever and I'm so incredibly mentally worn out when I come home I just want to curl up in a ball and not do anything more involved than watch the Olympics and read fic. And this time I feel a little less like I'd waste time moping over not working, because God knows I had more than enough time to mope last summer.
