I don't think that the public has a right to know about a politician's personal or romantic life unless the personal or romantic life in question impacts their job performance, or should impact their job performance but doesn't due to an appalling display of hypocrisy.

For example, if they get the person they're having an affair with a job in their office, the public should know. If they're cheating on their wives while lauding "the sanctity of marriage" and screwing same-sex partnerships out of marriage rights, the public should know. If they've got the balls to support abstinence-only education and their teenage daughter's knocked up, the public should know.

I still haven't gotten a call from work to come in, and I can't come in again until they call. I have a sneaking suspicion I won't get a call in time to come in today, which is probably a good thing since I still have to run to the gym for the first time in something like a week.

And hey, it smells like spring out! Granted, there's still a foot and a half of snow on the ground, but it's not going to last very long considering the sun's out and it's fairly warm out.

Your answer is pretty much word-for-word what I would have said. Hypocrisy makes my head explode. I don't have the courage to view any of the other answers for fear they will also make my head explode.
