Aww! That is cute, and pretty typical, in my experience. It's hard to overestimate the amount that little kids just do not care, except in that it's briefly interesting to find out that people do things differently than they're used to.
For little kids, everything is something different than they're used to. Jane's mom folds towels differently. Mike's dad uses a gas grill, instead of a charcoal grill. Billy can't have peanut butter. Susie's got three middle names. Maggie's grandma only speaks Spanish. Whatever it is, the little ones adapt.
And that, I think, is why it's so awfully tragic when the littles are taught intolerance or hatred or that there is only one way, as they so often are taught to parrot. THAT'S what subverts nature, and breaks my heart.
Yeah, that. My niece and nephew have never worked up the same amount of interest in "why does our cousin have two moms?" that they have in "why is Grandma drinking Coke in the living room when we have to keep our drinks in the kitchen?" The second question having about ten million times more relevance to their interests.
I can't see the video, but I do know that when I was a little kid I flummoxed my mother by asking why I couldn't marry my (female) best friend. ("But she's the person I like best in the whole world!")
The original has been locked, presumably because of typical internet idiots ruining everything with their ignorant rantings. I did a search on the title, though, and I found this tribute, which has the audio at least.
