missyjack's SPN meta SO MUCH.
And while she doesn't discuss him in that particular post -- it's about last night's episode -- my icon reminds me that I especially like the way she really hits the nail on the head in regards to Castiel and the way I personally stand with the character. (I have these massive blog posts in my head about the mistake of attributing human behaviors to an angel and taking orders and brainwashing and penance and a zillion other things that I only let slip on occasion because if I end up writing them I'm going to wade into incredibly wanky territory.)
Good thought-provoking stuff there, which is helpful for me since my Friday brain has sort of devolved into squealing and flailing at episodes with the (admittedly dim) possibility of a big-ass apocalypse on the horizon.
