It is technically late May, and it is fifty degrees and rainy. I feel depressed enough without stifling the urge to cry when I look out the window. I'm sorta frustrated with my job this week and sick of this place and feeling lonely as fuck and I really hate being in a state of mind that makes me well up when I see Jensen and Danneel's wedding pictures because, fuck, that's really sweet and I hope they have a good life and pretty babies but I also wish I had something like that, except of course if I had something like that it would have washed its hair and shaved its face for the wedding, Jen.

... urgh. Anyway.

I'm still planning on posting a small fandoms fic thing on [livejournal.com profile] apocalyptothon when all of the stories are in, which I believe they are, but don't quote me on it just yet. It'll probably just be a prompt free-for-all separated by fandoms in the comments if I'm planning it right, but we'll see.

I've got to edit tonight. I spent today trying to get access to my email on my lunch and breaks and apparently every free wi-fi for about a block was down. Nothing like driving around like some big loser trying to get an internet connection on your wee little netbook.

Oh, and I'm debating replacing the cell phone my mom pays for with a Tracfone, because the Tracfone is the only thing I can afford and even the cheapest versions still do more and work better than the lame Motorola my mom gave me. Just because I could drop it off a roof and it would bounce doesn't make up for the fact that I can stand in my living room in the middle of town within blocks of the telephone company and not pick up a damn signal.

And now I'm going to console myself with milk chocolates with maple walnut filling and Lee and Crystal moving onto the final two OR ELSE, CASEY.

Have some tea. It's not much, but it tends to help.

Also, I shared some Gertrude Hawk chocolates with my brother when I went back home, and we both agreed the white chocolate strawberry and milk maple walnuts were the best.

*hugs* I hope spring finds you soon.

And thank you for doing the small fandoms part! Those are usually my favorites (though that Glee story you received will be hard to top).

Thanks! You're pretty awesome yourself. (I cannot get over how utterly fantastic both stories you wrote for me are!)

It's the summer of many people's discontent of late, and the feeling of lonlyness/disconnection/alienation is getting to a fever'd pitch.

oh dear. sorry, i think that's the most pretentious thing i've said all year.

anyway, it's hard to talk about feeling lonely, discontent with life espeically when things seem to be perpetually dicking you over. which sucks, because honestly life shouldn't be dicking you over, some hot boi (or grl, depending on tastes) should be. but i digress.

At least you have semi-healthy outlets, like writing.
imaginge those people who bottle it all up.

Just a suggestion regarding your phone. It might need either a PRL update or a software update. That could be taken care of at your nearest provider store.

I had that happen after we moved from Tx to Ks. Not saying it'll totally fix your problem, but it couldn't hurt to ask.

You probably need the phone aligned to year nearest tower... bring it in to the dealer and have them do it (I unfortunately don't remember the code off hand anymore). Just because it's sold in your area doesn't mean they took the time to align it.

Also, tracfone is... I'm just going to say that I'd rather never speak to anyone who wasn't face to face again rather than buy another! It wasn't necessarily one incident so much as continuous problems. :(
