I'm sorting through my clothes and getting rid of everything that's stained, beyond repair, or far too small to even contemplate fitting into again. There's ... not really much left after that.

I am watching lost but suggest that it could be worth it for shits and giggles to toss all your tossable clothes into a lot and put it up on Ebay... you never know...

Seconding this. I took quick snaps with a digital cam of some representative samples of my this-ass-won't-fit-into-those-jeans spring cleaning and put up a batch of stuff on a craigslist posting not long ago. I offered it to anyone in my area willing to pick it up from me at a local starbucks and got paid in cash for the trade. And hey, clothes didn't go to waste.

So definitely an option (and less annoying if you hate dealing with mailing stuff out to folks as much as I do).

I don't watch Lost, so I spent my evening moving furniture, which is the same thing I spent my day, doing, ironically.

And I can proudly announce that I speak to you now from the comfort (and freezing coldness, dang AC vent above my head) of my family room instead of the dark corner of my bedroom. :)

I did the clothes thing this time last year, when we first moved in. And yeah, I take up less space in the closet now than the hubby does.
