I didn't talk about TV, that's what. Granted, I didn't watch much ... I'm still not caught up on DW or the last two episodes of Glee although I've spoiled myself for both -- but I did watch SYTYCD and caught up with the better performances I missed from this week's AGT.

*

-- That glow-in-the-dark group was fucking AWESOME, and I'm really hoping they can come up with something to top that in the next round, because that audition was fantastic.

-- Same with Antonio, the illusionist with all of the fire. That performance was an intriguing start, but what he said about his dad made him ridiculously endearing.

-- Prince Poppycock ... yeah. Okay. I'm not complaining because he did well, but ... yeah.

Okay, what I think of each of the top eleven after this week:

Billy -- I don't even know what to DO with that boy. He just moves in these amazing wonderful ways, and it showed very well in that Mia routine considering he spent the entire thing basically on the floor.

Alex -- So here's my thing about Alex. I love everything about Alex. I do. What I don't like about Alex is the same thing I don't like about Billy and it really has nothing to do with either of them, and that's how the show already appears to be framing this season as an Alex vs. Billy catfight, and I hate that because, seriously, do Nigel's imaginary dancing catfights EVER work out? Last season they were all ready to go Billy vs. Jakob and Billy got mono. What the hell is going to happen to jinx Alex now? Nothing better happen to Alex, damn it. HMPH.

Kent -- I'm developing one hell of a hardcore soft-spot for Kent. He's dorky and has no filter and he's spazzy because he's finally escaped from the basement they keep him in or whatever, but he's good. I really do think he's good, and when he needs work he knows it and wants to put the effort in. He's a total yokel, but he's an endearing yokel. That said, he could very easily be one wrong move away from getting voted off.

Adechike -- Why do I feel like he's going to be another Vittolio? I feel like he's going to be the second or third one kicked off, and probably the first guy, since the guys seem to be a stronger group this year.

Robert -- Dude, Robert's a hotass. I feel like this is going to be one of those situations where I'm too focused on his pretty, pretty face to notice he's actually really, really good.

Jose -- Oh, Jose. He's such a puppy. He's probably going to end up with something like ballroom and do well enough for someone with no training but not good enough for the show and get voted off quickly, but he seems like such a well-meaning sweetheart who's just excited to be there.

Lauren -- I think Lauren's my favorite girl, although Alexie isn't far off. I'm just really hoping they don't play the whole cheerleading aspect into the ground, because from what I've read of her she's very well trained in dance.

Alexie -- How can you not love someone who just kept coming back over and over again to audition? And I thought she did really well on Thursday, even given that Tyce's choreography was so lame it's like he phoned it in. "The four of you will prance around the stage and flip your skirts playfully for two and a half minutes. Aaaaand go!"

Melinda -- She wasn't helped by the choreography, either, and I think my major problem with her is just that I worry that she's going to get shafted due to the focus on tap. That said, how can you not like a woman who hangs out with a guy like Harold Cromer? (And she still looks exactly like Kathryn, especially when she smiles.)

Cristina -- She may be good, but she's another one who was seriously not helped by that choreography, or by dancing with Pasha and Anya. I mean, really, if you're going to be dancing with those two you'd better bring it, and she was just shy of being up to par.

Ashley -- Eh. She's probably my least favorite contestant, not the least of which because we barely saw anything of her before she was chosen for the show, and then she was in that Sonya number and it just seemed like Sonya was focusing on everyone BUT her.

As for this week, new True Blood and new Top Chef! Woohoo!

I'll admit I was a little surprised when I didn't see a Glee reaction post for the finale, but you've been pretty busy lately so I figured that was why. Congrats on that car loan you got and I hope the writing and editing goes well for you.
