I'm not sure I like where these are heading, plot-wise, but still, continuous Chris in every episode makes for a happy troll. *g*

Well, I'm starting to get the impression that Chris is going to die to save Wyatt from evil, which bugs me. (And not just because it means no more Drew. Like there isn't enough angst on this show already sometimes.) If it were me writing the storyline, I'd have Grown Wyatt come back in time as soon as Little Wyatt's saved and Chris's life is in the balance to save his brother. (Sort of the same way Leo and the ladies hid the spell under the creaky floorboard to save Chris ... I can see a future Piper and Leo sending Wyatt back to keep his brother from dying. Or something. Not sure how I'd do it, but that's kinda the way I'd write it.)

And ten bucks says that will probably lead next season to Leo and Piper making up and getting back together after to keep Wyatt and little Chris safe.

As for the whole Gideon bit, something about that rubs me the wrong way. The storyline of Wyatt getting turned is going pretty good so far, but I can just see it crashing into a brick wall if they make one wrong turn.

Heh, I don't feel like they'd sacrifice Chris, if anyone's going to get sacrificed it's probably going to by Wyatt. I think they're going to lose that boy somehow, I dunno just a feeling.

Hmm, the Gideon intrigue is good so far but it is a minefield they're negotiating but I'm more curious about them referencing not only Cole but Phoebe's baby from that defunct marriage - I know they keep insisting that it was the Seer's child but I've never really bought that because it has a knock on effect on the conception of Wyatt and if you follow the logic there then Wyatt wouldn't be Leo and Piper's child either.

It's either skewed continuity or retcon, or really sinister plotting. I have no idea what.

Btw, I don't think Chris has to die for Leo and Piper to get back together, once Leo realises what Gideon's up to and that the Charmed Ones alone might not be able to protect his sons then he'll probably be all 'screw the Elder rules, you'll find me at home'. After all he can protect the boys at home and The Charmed Ones can protect him in turn - they did it for Ramus.

I'm kind of hoping that's the direction they're going -- sacrificing Wyatt in the end -- especially considering all the dropped hints that they weren't supposed to have him in the first place. Then again, it is killing a baby, which many TV shows are loathe to do even it is evil.

And that bit about Wyatt possibly being the magical evil fetus that got passed around wombs like a hot potato ... that's another thing that occurred to me yesterday.

I just hope Chris makes it out okay in the long run. I like Chris, damn it, especially when he's being snarky to Leo.

I don't know that the writers would jettison Drew unless he didn't want to do the role anymore, or they couldn't come up with new and interesting storylines. I mean, Chris is the storyline this season and they just gave him his own episode practically (I don't recall them doing that with Cole) so I really think they like having Chris around and would do a spin-off if it were possible.

See - we all have the big Chris love. ;)
