Time to go to bed.
Jul. 8th, 2010 11:33 pmI got my big fat paycheck today.
I bought a bunch of household stuff and pet supplies I needed and left my mom her monthly hundred bucks and the money for the mechanic. What's left over should pay for the car payment and the insurance, and possibly the hotel room for DC if my brother decides to chip money my way this week.
I'm going to be working from eight tomorrow morning until two a.m. on Saturday. Yay, work? *sigh* (The only reason I'm not all kerflaily about the whole thing is that my day job is basically me and data entry and the computer. By the time I leave I'm all wound up, and it's only when I get home that I start feeling like, "Oh, crap, sleeeeeeeeeeeep." So working that long shouldn't be a problem because my day job is sort of laid back anyway.)
I'm beginning to think I'm never going to have time to write again at this rate. But hey, I'll have my bills paid off and then some, so who cares if I don't get to do the one thing that makes me happy?
... urgh. I know I'm glad I'll be able to start paying off everybody I need to pay off, but at the same time I am not looking forward to having two jobs as if the other one will make up for the lack of writing time, significant others, and anything remotely social anywhere in the future.
