Today I found out that starting on Wednesday I would spend a week training on a client I haven't been trained on yet at work. Which would be fine with me, except that when you train on a new client your shift moves from whatever it currently is (mine is 11:00 am to 7:30 pm) to 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for the duration of the training.
The training is only a week long for this particular client. That said, they won't let me out of it so it's not worth asking, and it's too late for me to do anything about my Wegmans schedule for next week at this point because my manager has already written it (I just haven't seen it yet) and any day next week I have to work is going to be me going to my day job, napping for two hours (either in my car or wasting twenty-five minutes to drive home for one), going to work at Wegmans, and then going home to sleep for three hours. Also, I have a dentist appointment on the 27th I'll now have to reschedule because of this absolute clusterfuck, and rescheduling with my awesome and therefore understandably busy dentist is always a complete trial.
As I explained to the girl in the next cube as I tried rather desperately not to burst into stressed-out tears at my desk today, right now I'm happier at Wegmans than I am at my day job, and this bullshit was just the straw that broke the camel's back in terms of how much crap I'm willing to put myself through to keep from stressing out so much about money, and it's not helping much on that count, either, if we're being entirely honest.
That said, it's only a week. It's only a week. It's only a week.
... fuuuuuuuuuck.
(It's also followed by two days straight taking inbound phone calls. I seriously hope I don't snap on some poor bastard over the phone at this rate.)

I shall endeavor to make you feel better...
