My viewing list is short but sweet.

nrrrdy_grrrl just posted a list of the fall premiere dates, and I'm making a note of the shows I'm watching this season because I sort of have to at this point. I was honestly surprised a couple of days ago when I realized just how close the fall premieres are, and then I realized that kids are going to start going back to school soon, and THEN I realized my birthday's coming up at the end of September. (YAY for birthdays!)

Anyway, yeah. The TV shows I plan to watch so far this season are few and far between, really, not counting the current season of Project Runway already in progress and the last few episodes of Top Chef this season.

Thursday, September 9
The Vampire Diaries - The CW

Dude, I cannot WAIT. Katherine! I spend so much time wanting to say that Nina Dobrev's not the best actress in the world and mostly gets by -- much like Michelle Trachtenburg -- on the glossiness of her hair, and then she turns around and plays Katherine and I go all flappyhands. Basically, I'm apparently much happier when she's playing a hardcore manipulative bitch. Also, more Damon! Which, as we know, makes everything better. EVERYTHING.

Monday, September 20
Chuck - NBC

I missed a lot of last season, I'll admit. And I started rewatching from the beginning but changed my mind because it's been so long since I've seen a lot of those episodes it's distracting at work. However, I need to come back to the show considering who they got to play Chuck and Ellie's mom. It's a moral imperative.

Tuesday, September 21
Glee - Fox

Yeah, yeah, I know. I missed the last couple of episodes of last season and ... well, I still haven't watched them. And I'm pissed at a few things I've heard about this season. And there are days I just want to abduct Brittany, Santana, Kurt, Kurt's Dad, and Sue and cart them all off to a show that deserves them more than Glee does. But I still plan on watching, God help me. *headsmack*

Supernatural - The CW

Speaking of things I can't wait for ... \o/ I want anguished boys and Dean who's learning he's absolute shite at being normal (DUH) and Bobby eternally being awesome and Sam being a big Pouty-McPouterson and Lisa being all "You DO know I'm not June Cleaver, right?" and Castiel's FACE. Here's to hoping I get all of that.

That's okay, I had to catch up with the middle of this season this summer just so I'd be prepared for next season since I skipped out on the show after the second or third episode and only started watching again because there was nothing else on before SPN.

I can't wait for the fall season to begin. I love that here are practically three seasons these days, as opposed to just two and one vast hiatus without anything, but the fall season still makes everything better.
