apocalypsosAdmittedly, I spoiled myself beforehand, but it doesn't stop it from being awesome.
You know, I can be perfectly logical about this sort of thing. Damon is a psycho. Katherine is a psycho. Every pairing on this show will end very, very badly. Wanting anyone on this show to stay with their current SOs -- and that now includes Matt and Caroline after that ending, heh -- is a terrible, no-good idea.
That said, I still want Damon/Elena and Stefan/Katherine SO FUCKING BADLY. Yes, even after Damon snapped Jeremy's neck. I never claimed not to be fucked up when it came to this show. Damon needs someone to rein him in, and Stefan needs somebody to pull the stick out of his ass. And seriously, what is it with Stefan? Does he have beer-flavored nipples or something? I mean, I get why Elena wants Stefan and I get why Katherine wants Stefan and yet my lizard brain is like, NO, STEFAN IS BORING, SOMEBODY GET ON DAMON'S JOCK ALREADY, JESUS JITTERBUGGING CHRIST.
Still kinda blah on Bonnie. She's badass, not gonna lie, but she does nothing for me, which sucks, because normally she's exactly the character I'd be all over. Maybe it's the actress? Hell if I know.
And I will repeat what I said earlier ... I thought Nina Dobrev was getting by on her shiny, shiny hair until Katherine came along. Hi, Katherine! I love you the bestest. You're my favorite hardcore bitch and I dig you. :D
Also, one of the very few things about this show that bugs me is the whole OMFG WHAT ARE THE LOCKWOODS?!?! schtick. Writers? They're werewolves. You know they're werewolves, we know they're werewolves, blind people without televisions know they're werewolves. The only people who don't know they're werewolves are a good chunk of the characters on the show and even that's starting to strain credulity. In my dream world Uncle Hottie McHotterson tells Tyler at the beginning of the next episode and puts that whole storyline to bed already.
