apocalypsosFrance: Bin Laden Nearly Caught in Afghanistan
Didn't they ever hear that saying about 'nearly' or an equivalent adverb or adjective only counting in horseshoes and hand grenades?
Wait a sec. Were they throwing hand grenades at him? 'Cause if they were close enough to fling grenades, that not only counts, that means they were within spraying-with-quick-drying-cement-like-in-a-Warner-Brothers-cartoon distance. Of course, if they could do that, by The Laws of Animated Hijinks, he could escape through a Portable Black Hole (TM) before they could catch him.
Oh, God. Please don't let me keep talking. I should not be able to rationalize Bin Laden's non-capture for three straight years using Bugs Bunny as a prime example.
*goes back to playing the Harry Potter game obsessively*
EDIT: You know, I usually like Snape, but I think just for the Potions Challenge in this game, I hate him just a wee little bit. Just a tad. Or, you know, an immense fucking amount beyond all human comprehension.
And also, I've had a bag of Hershey's Cookie and Cream Bites for three days now that I've been saving for work and I haven't ripped them open and eaten them all in one fell swallow. I'm pretty sure showing that level of restraint raises you to sainthood in some cultures.
