So I was thinking the other day that what I really want to do -- you know, after I'm done with NaNo -- is to start a story based on whatever I can come up with based on a soundtrack I want to throw together of slowed-down covers of pop songs. (To give you some idea of what I'm looking for, I've already got Greg Laswell's cover of "Girls Just Want To Have Fun", Imogen Heap's cover of "Thriller," and the cover of "Creep" from the Social Network trailer. Not that that one's slowed down all THAT much, but still.)

So, yeah. Anybody got any suggestions on that count?

Emm Gryner does a good version of Song 2 (Blur) and Dakota Blonde does "Down Under" (Men At Work). LMK if you want them.

Take On Me by Anni B Sweet, it's kind of folksy and whimsical.

I have a folksy, blokey cover of Wuthering Heights by Josh Pyke. It's incredibly dorky to hear an Aussie bloke crooning "Heathcliff, it's me, your Catheeee!"

Thea Gilmore's Bad Moon Rising, C W Stoneking's bluesy Seven Nation Army, Dancing in the Dark by Tegan and Sara, The Mountain Goats covering Ace of Base's I Saw the Sign. All of which I can upload, if you'd like.
