apocalypsosWhich is weird, because I was just saying to my cousin's wife (who is so adorably skinny-pregnant) tonight that I could very easily live without cable TV at this point just as long as I keep the internet. I seriously haven't even turned on my TV in, like, a month.
But I watched the new Who, oh, yes I did!
-- RIVER SONG. \O/ I could happily watch the River Song show, starring River Song, guest-starring River Song, with theme song performed River Song ALL FUCKING DAY LONG. (I have to admit the flirting thing they do where he does something wrong with the TARDIS and then says, "River, did you touch something?" when he fixes it is both adorably sexy AND hilariously reminiscent of my parents arguing while setting up for parties.)
-- MARK FUCKING SHEPPARD. That is seriously his middle name. Or it should be. Every time I see him in something I went to write, like, fifteen different characters based on him.
-- Well, I can always count on this show to creep me out even as I somehow don't expect them to. Heh.
-- I love how obvious it was that future!Doctor and current!Doctor were two entirely different Doctors and yet ... Matt Smith. Love him. :D
-- I'm really just happy to see everybody again. Doctors! Ponds! Mark Goddamn Sheppard.

In other news, I'm going to be doing writing exercises tomorrow. Want to see more of any of my characters which you've read about? Gimme a character and I'll try to write a short bit about them tomorrow.
