I'm not going to lie - as much of a Parker/Hardison shipper as I am, I really melted the most when Eliot hugged Hardison. AWWWWWWW.

Not that all the Parker/Hardison stuff didn't make me squee. She called him Alec! He gave her a kiss! She called him her friend! Because that's what he is, first and foremost, and that's a LOT for Parker. :D

Meanwhile, Nate/Sophie is still hot. And I am a little disappointed that the others hadn't already figured it out, but I love how Sophie and Nate are still trying to handwave it. It's so weird going back and watching season one episodes with the two of them now, because their romantic relationship is so much more relaxed now than it was then.

McSweetin! I love seeing him, because he's a dope but he's a sweet dope. And I adore Parker for finding him a good person. Every once in a while I'm tempted to write a story where McSweetin finds out Parker is an international thief, or where he already knows but isn't saying anything or arresting her because he realizes the good she's doing. I giggled over the fact he wrote her a haiku. That's so HIM. Heeee.

I also really enjoyed the bed guy in the second episode a lot. (Not that I didn't like Anne-Marie Johnson, who's awesome, but still.) He was just such a bastard, and I really appreciate whenever the writers acknowledge that if you're going to be going up against criminals, they may actually know these notorious former criminals on sight. That said, BWAHAHAHAHAHA at all the fish jokes, and Nate repeatedly responding to him calling himself the Mako by being all, "What? The who?" Heh.

Speaking of bad guys, oooooo. I really like the new Big Bad. I'm really impressed with the way they've tied him into everything going back to the very beginning. It's weird -- like I said, I've been watching the first season lately, and every once in a while you wonder how they don't get spotted or caught on film or anything. The team's not exactly THAT under the radar, even in the beginning, so it makes a ton of sense that someone - especially someone that has the resources to notice -- would use that knowledge to his advantage. And the thing is, if they do end up having to take him down, they're going to have one hell of a time considering he has to know them and their patterns exceedingly well by now. (That was another thing that I was glad he brought up - the fact that they have their ways of doing things and their patterns and habits are very identifiable. As Eliot would say, "It's a very distinctive style.")

Meanwhile, I'm thinking about watching "The Lying Game" tonight, although it's going to require me running home to watch it and I'm still not sure I'm into the concept. That said, I did write it down on my list of shows to try out this summer, so I should at least give the pilot a shot.

It also reminds me that I really need to catch up with TVD and SPN before the fall season starts. I really do want to watch them this year, even though I'm behind on both shows and I'm not sure how I'm even going to pull off watching them. I've already slacked on "Alphas" and don't have the urge to catch up, so there's that.

Urgh, TV. I need more free time to catch up with it.

I've been slacking off on writing lately and it's pissing me off. There are some days I genuinely wish it were two years ago when my cafe was still open and I didn't have a day job and I was burning through my word count on Heroine Addiction like a mad woman.

There's also the fact that my parents are currently having a two-week vacation at the lake where they were staying when I was born way back when, and it's only a fifteen-minute drive away, so they've basically invited everyone in the family to come over whenever they want. So I've got a place to vacation, I just don't have the time to go there other than on the weekend. And that's debatable.
