Can I make a zany suggestion? What do you think about putting a deadline on the writing of the fics people sign up for? It just seems that if they're open-ended, we'll never see half of those lovely pairings get written.

Yeah, I think this time we'll have a deadline. And a limit of the number of pairings one can take, just to make it interesting.

Great idea. I know a lot of people actually write better and faster if they have a deadline.

I write well under the gun. Might we suggest 4 or 5 pairings as the max? Some folks are prolific enough to eke out a story a week, but anything more than that leads to a lot of half-starts.

Which reminds me that I have an Angel/Lola fic to tidy up & finish.

I think I may make it four, with the option to trade one in and get another one if a pairing isn't working for you.
