Why I should remember that today is a good day

Because Paco is gone. Gone, gone, gone. A great and vicious evil has been smited, and the world can rest safer knowing that Paco the Corsican Pimp sleeps with the fishes. (Or, you know, parks amongst the rust heaps, but whatever.)

Also, I bought some new clothes today. Just some underwear and jeans, which I needed, and some new shoes, which I both needed and wanted. My favorites are the pink sneakers with heels which, in addition to being girlish and sporty, also make me an extra apple taller. The other Smurfs will be so jealous!

This weekend, I get writing done if it kills me. Do you hear me?! If it kills me! Sure, it's going to be a bitch if I try writing in future weekends if it kills me, but I'm sure someone out there will be nice enough to ignore the smell and prop me up in front of a computer. After that ... well, I guess I'm just going to have to do the same thing I do when I'm trying to type drunk and fall face-first into the keyboard. It's all in the willpower, baby.

It looks like it's getting stormy out there. See? Even Mother Nature's taunting me about the movie. That wench. *seethes*
