The power just went out here for an hour. Woohoo! If only it could have stayed off until I left for the bus station.

And before I forget, Happy Reagan's-A-Corpse Day tomorrow! (He's still dead, by the way. And yet, still more likely to win the next presidential election than Bush. *nods solemnly*)

You know, I would happily vote for the corpse instead of Bush. Except of course I won't vote for either one.

I'm going to be spending the day refinishing floors. My ex-president died and all I got was these lousy 3 coats of polyurothane.

It's sad that I would probably be more likely to vote for the reanimated corpse of Ronald Reagan than Bush at this point. And I couldn't stand the guy. Maybe he'd have a better perspective after dying, anyway.

Augh! I spewed iced tea all over my khakis. Thanks for the spit-take.

Okay that's it. You just keep getting metaquoted, and then I came over and read this, and then...well, there was Hugh Jackman and I think my brain broke, but the moral of the story? I'm totally friending you.

*waves*

Don't feel the need to friend back, says my disclaimer. I'm really not very interesting, I promise.

Thank you! - for greeting, that's it. I just watched the news, and there is a discussion whether to put Reagan's portrait on 10-dollar bills. Nothing boosts one's popularuty as a timely death.

Well, Democrats always have said they'd rather vote for a dead man than Bush--and we backed that up by nominating Kerry. Sigh.

No, no- he's more likely to deserve to win. :P
