Have you ever considered writing a book, or a column?

Oh, God, yes. I think I'd kill small, fluffy animals to get a book deal. I think my problem is ... oh, actually finishing the damn thing. I've got an original novel that I've been trying to finish, because in my head it's the beginning of a looooong series. (It started out short in my head, but the characters just keeping doing stuff.)

If your job sucks, have you considered getting another?

Oh, yeah. Then again, every time I get a new job, it ends up sucking. I don't think I'm going to be truly happy with a job until I'm writing books for a living. So this may take a while. ;)

You're cute, you're witty, and you're young. Why are you still single?

Probably because I can't find a guy who fits those same requirements.

You're one of the few people on my flist who never posts pictures of herself. Are you totally against the idea?

No, I'm just never happy with any pictures I end up having taken of myself. If I could find one where I wasn't wearing a stupid outfit or a bad haircut or a stupid expression,I'd post it. I'd probably have to go back to childhood, but whatever. (I don't like not having my picture taken, but mostly because I keep hoping I'll take one that doesn't make me look stupid.)

EDIT: To give you some idea of what I look like, see my icon? If she wasn't wearing a costume and a doofy expression, that's what I look like.

what's the best type of humour/joke to hook people with, in your opinion?

Oh, jeez. Usually, silly and a little childish works for me. It's easily relatable, doesn't require a lot of explanation, and you can tell who's more fun to hang out with according to how well people play along. Plus, later on when you have an intelligent conversation and engage in educated discussions, no one ever sees it coming.

And as for my favorite joke, it is and always will be the dead frog on a string joke.

What's your favorite kind of cheese?

Ick ... cheese. The only kinds of cheese I've ever liked are American and Velveeta, which says a lot.

What's your favorite kind of porn?

I have to pick a favorite kind?

Okay, seriously, pictures and videos and stuff don't really do as much for me as fic does. Jeez, I'm such a reader, it even extends to my porn. Kinda sad, really. ;) Content-wise, it really depends on the writing. Even stuff where the kink probably wouldn't get me all that hot and bothered in real life will make me sweat if it's written well.

In as few words as possible, please express your opinions on: Kurt Russell, Labyrinth, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Winona Ryder, Heathers, and Kevin Smith.

A far better actor than people give him credit for, I want to be Jennifer Connelly when I grow up, I only like him as a robot, hasn't made a good movie in a decade, my favorite high school movie next to The Breakfast Club, and should only be allowed to write dialogue. (EDIT: Forget the 80s bit. That was a typo of sorts. Serves me right for typing this up as I'm getting ready. *eye roll*)

What's your favourite flavour of Ben and Jerry's? (this is more important than you might realise)

Half-Baked, without a doubt. Cookie and brownie dough in chocolate and vanilla ... gaaaaah. I think I gained five pounds just imagining a carton, but like I care.

How did you feel the day you finally accepted that no, you weren't going to get any taller?

I was supposed to accept that? Nope, sorry, still in denial.

No, seriously. I'm 26 and 5'2". My little brother is 18 and 6'1", and still growing. I think he adds inches just to spite me.

Why Trollprincess?

Well, back in my first year of college, I lived across the hall from this really silly chick named Aisha. One Saturday, we were all hanging out in the dorms with our doors open, and she was kind of on a sugar rush. She was wandering around going, "And you're the Troll King, and you're the Gnome Jester ..." Then she walked into my room, eyed me for a second, and said, "And you get to be the Troll Princess." Then, the next day, we went to the computer lab because I needed an email, I used Troll Princess. And I've been using it ever since. *g*

How did you get interested in writing?

I can't remember a time when I wasn't reading. According to my mom, I've been doing it since I was four. I think she means continuously. Anyway, I honestly didn't even think to try writing until I bought this romance novel set on the Titanic when I was about fifteen. I don't remember the name of it, but I bought it because I was a huge Titanic nut and thought I'd picked up something that might actually be accurate. (I'd read A Night to Remember when I was ten and was a mini-Titanic addict since.) The romance was utter shit, not to mention that the author had decided for some reason that every single first class male (and the captain) had a mistress with them on the boat. (She hadn't included Isidor Strauss, but considering how sadly romantic I've always found their story, I believe the fact that she didn't include Isidor is the reason I didn't go to her house and beat her within an inch of her life.) I specifically remember throwing the book into my closet -- hard -- and yelling, "Jesus, I could write better than that!" So the next day, when I was in earth science, I tried it. And I sucked.

But then the next year I had creative writing class, so I got better. Not a lot better, because we were mostly doing poetry (and my poetry is absolutely terrifying in its putrescence), but we did have to do one short story, so I did have that going for me. The best practice I ever got, though, was when I went to college and discovered fanfiction. I swear, if I ever teach creative writing, one of the assignments I give is going to be to write a fanfic. I could have so much fun ... molding young minds with canon and fanon and Mary Sues. (I know I live in a dream world. Sue me.)

and you seem to be smaller than me.

I'm smaller than everybody. Being bigger than me isn't much of an accomplishment. ;P

On second reading, that sounded way ruder than intended. Intentions being to let you know there's someone in Pennsylvania shorter than you. So be happy, lady!
