As I understand from skimming past the admin posts on my flist, they had a nasty machine meltdown a day or so ago, and while that's fixed now (in fact, as I recall, everyone was in at 3am or so working on it), the system is taking time to settle back down.

Then again, I may be confusing them with my webhost, which rocks the skies -- and is having similar issues.

(And I know I'm tired, because I read that last line carelessly at first and came up with an entirely other word that uses the letters "m" "a", "s", "t", "b", "a" and "te".

It's my considered opinion that LJ has become infected with a magical virus of doom which then makes IE not load ANYTHING, at all, EVER. Netscape is a little less vulnerable to this, but it still seems to be suffering.

Either that or someone poured blackstrap molasses into the LJ servers, with a consequent system breakdown and a propensity to give you Cannot Find Server messages when you know damned well it can find the server. I loathe lying computers.

I got the issue too. Oh the hotness. Not like the last 50 most beautiful people mag which was terrible and ONLY redeemed by Michael Vartan.

But me loves this issue. And it even has the lead singer of Hoobastank! Who, while his band is only okay, is cool by simply being an Asian American lead singer in a mega-selling rock band. We need more ethnicity in American rock bands.

But none of that matters when I have Orlando Bloom in supersized pictures.
