I hate tennis. But ... but ... the Wimbledon trailer is so damn cute!

Also, added to the list of movies I seriously need to review: Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves. Big-budget cheese works best, I swear. :)

Senator Barbara Boxer speaks out against the Federal Marriage Amendment. Thank God there are still some sane people in the world.

Oh, and is it just me, or is Courtney Love starting to look like a really scary drunken transvestite?

I watched her last night before I went to bed on C-Span. She was brilliant! I had restrain myself from clapping many a time.

And then there was a Republican senator from Missouri (I think) who made me want to VOMIT with his speech. I had to turn it off or I would have gotten so angry and NEVER fallen asleep!

I think Robin Hood: Men in Tights would be a much funnier review... but that might just be me :)

You need to review 'The Three Musketeers'. The Kiefer Sutherland version. It ranks right up there with RH:PoT and Armageddon.

CNN posted that the amendment drive won't make it out of the Senate. Thank god. The hardline conservatives are taking this way far.

I'm v. excited for Wimbeldon. EEEE Paul Bettany EEEE.

And Courtney L. may in fact be a really scary drunken transvestite.

Cheers for Barbara Boxer! That made my day better.

And I don't think it's just you. Creepy.

Thanks for the Boxer link. There are sane people in government: sometimes it's easy to forget that.

I... I....

I....

I kinda sorta still like RH: PoT.

I mean, Costner annoys me, and honestly so does whoever played Marian, but everybody else? I mean, Morgan Freeman as random grumpy moorish dude they threw in... just because. Alan Rickman as the Sheriff. Drunken Friar Tuck! Even Christian Slater as "I HAVE A REASON TO BE THIS ANGRY AND BITTER, DAMNIT!" Will Scarlett. And omg, I so wanted to live in their outlaw camp--y'know, the one that got destroyed.

And you cannot tell me you don't get the urge to quote the following sometimes:

Nottingham: I'll cut out his heart with a spoon...
Guy: Why a spoon, cousin? Why not an axe?
Nottingham: Because it's DULL, you twit, it'll hurt more.

Oh dear lord, now I'm looking at movie quotes. **shakes fist** CURSE YOU, TROLLPRINCESS!

"Fuck me, he cleared it!"

I, um, I kinda like it, too. Tell no one. But I like it knowing it's easy to mock, too. :)

Hey, I'm a history geek (and also Scots, and therefore have wanted to dig Mel Gibson's heart out with a spoon for... oh, about eight years now), and I rather love Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Costner sucks and the Random Little Boy is a huge irritation, but the way Alan Rickman just takes the piss out of the entire film makes it a thing of wonder. The Sheriff of Nottingham is a stud, yo.

And Morgan Freeman always makes it better.
